Built around a BBD delay IC (often considered an “analog” delay despite sharing both the operating principle and many of the limitations of a digital system), this unit is likely responsible for countless legendary guitar tones immortalized on tape since 1979.

The model features two controls: Rate and Depth. The Rate control adjusts the LFO frequency, while the Depth control adjusts the LFO output swing. Consequently, these controls affect the rate and range of the BBD delay time modulation, respectively.
